Born in Bayanbulag sum of Bayankhongor province
- At age of 6, graduated from the University of Religions and became a pupil of S.Otgon
- At age of 9, became disciple at “Tugs Bayasgalant Ulzii Khutag Sain Amgalan Arvijikh” monastery
- At age of 17, studied Buddhism philosophy at Dashchoimbol monastic school in Gandantegchinlen monastery for 4 years
- Studied the major principles of Buddhism: Namdel (Commentaries of logic), Pharchin (Perfection of Wisdom) and Uma (Avoidance of Extremes/middle way) at Drepung monastery Gomang philosophical monastic school in Southern India
- Studied Ganjuur (Kanjur) for 4 years and Danjuur (Tanjur) for 3 years respectively at Kaza in Spiti, India
- Did Nyamba (nyanba/Dayaan) for 3 years consecutively in Dalankhar mountain, Inner Mongolia.
